Good Food, Good Company

On Tuesday evening Rita and Jim had invited everyone round for dinner. Rita was a friend of cousin Miriam's from school and has known the family for years. She and Jim are really good company and we had a really great evening. Jim was letting loose with the jokes...from the good natured eye-rolling I guess they weren't new to Rita, but they were new to me. So funny!

We were late back though (it was well past midnight when we got home) and my alarm went off with relentless fury at 6:15 this morning. I did not want to get up I can tell you! I have felt dozy all day and had to have a snooze after work today before Stephen and I headed out to Rudy and Carols for a dinner with some folks from work. Its all socialising, all the time in our household this week!
