Into work, and home again

After starting to feel like I was on the mend, I woke up yesterday with another sore throat. It wasn't really any better today but I thought I should make an appearance at work. It turned out to be a reasonably short one - I decided enough was enough at lunchtime as my head was splitting, my throat agony and I was starting to cough and wheeze. I slunk off home and fell asleep for about 3 hours on the sofa...which was quite a feat as it's a 2-seat sofa, and even I (at a weeny 5ft) was folded up like a concertina to fit on it! Still, exhaustion won out over comfort - I could have slept on a knife edge! It's going to be an early night for me tonight - duvet and disprin sounds good to me right now.
